As a volunteer and social media team member at Golden Hearts Adult Day Care, I’ve had the privilege of blending hands-on service with creative storytelling. My days are often spent connecting with our vibrant senior community—engaging in conversations, assisting with recreational activities, and helping ensure each individual feels valued and heard.
On the social media side, I focus on capturing the heart of Golden Hearts: from the laughter shared during morning games to the joy of celebrating cultural traditions. I create content that not only highlights our day-to-day moments but also educates the wider community about the importance of culturally responsive senior care. Whether I’m filming a Lunar New Year celebration or sharing testimonials from families, my goal is to reflect the warmth, dignity, and spirit that define this place.
What makes this role so meaningful is the opportunity to be a bridge—between generations, cultures, and stories. I’m not just creating posts; I’m preserving memories, amplifying voices, and showing the world what it looks like when care is rooted in compassion and community.
